How to Send Appointment Notifications

AlarmBiller provides you the ability to send out notifications via email to your customers when a Work Order has been scheduled. The dialog box below appears when an appointment is scheduled or changed (time or different technician change). When you select save on

Make the appropriate selection from the choices given. Depending on your selection the customer, technician, or both will receive a notification that is shown below. A calendar appointment is sent with the email so that it may be added to the person’s calendar.

The customer also has the opportunity to Decline or Confirm the appointment time. When the technician is dispatched the customer will receive another email letting them know the technician is on their way.

Technician Notifications

AlarmBiller provides you the ability to send out notifications via email or text to your technicians when a Work Order has been scheduled for them. When you select save on a calendar appointment a Notification Confirmation dialog box will appear. A PDF version of the work order is automatically delivered to the technician as well.

If you select Notify Technician or Notify Both the scheduled technician will receive a notification. The email notification will be identical to the one the customer receives (shown above) and the text message is shown below.
